Festive Sparkling Matcha Green Tea

These Soar Organics sparkling matcha green tea beverages in two flavours are refreshing and delicious. Not only are they full of flavour, but they're perfect for autumn and winter festivities. With the drastic temperature change we've experienced in Canada (hello fall), we can't help but think of cozy nights spent inside with family, friends, food and fun drinks. If you're a matcha lover (like us) you'll love these sparkling matcha drinks!

With every recipe we prepare for you, we like to ensure we're including other healthy ingredients aside from our own matcha. When looking for a sparkling water, make sure to look for a sparkling water with a mineral content. Opting for sparkling mineral water will ensure you're getting that extra dose of necessary minerals, such as magnesium, potassium and sodium. Also, if you want to make your recipe sugar-free, simply leave out the raw sugar. Your beverages will still taste great!

Vegan-friendly, Gluten-free, Dairy-free and can easily be made Sugar-free. Recipe makes 1 medium glass.

What you'll need:

Lemon Cranberry Sparkling Matcha:

  • 1 cup Sparkling Mineral Water (plain)
  • 1/4 Juice of Fresh Lemon
  • Small handful of Fresh Cranberries
  • 2-4 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. Raw Turbinado Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. Soar Organics Matcha
  • 1/4 cup Hot Water to whisk matcha
  • Ice

Orange Rosemary Sparkling Matcha:

  • 1 cup Sparkling Mineral Water (plain)
  • 1/4 Juice of Fresh Orange
  • 1-2 Fresh Rosemary Stalks
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. Raw Turbinado Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. Soar Organics Matcha
  • 1/4 cup Hot Water to whisk matcha
  • Ice

Directions:

  1. Begin by whisking 1/8 tsp. Soar Organics Matcha with 1/4 cup of hot water. You can whisk with a traditional bamboo matcha whisk, or a kitchen whisk will do just fine.
  2. Add your matcha to a glass and top with your sparkling mineral water.
  3. Next add in your lemon or orange juice, and other ingredients.
  4. Finally, finish with some ice and enjoy!
